What’s On: Dog and Grog and pancakes

File Photo.

Good Morning SunLive readers, and welcome back to another Sunday.

Unfortunately, today isn't going to be the sunshine like we did yesterday with rain, a chance of it being heavy.

It should ease to a few showers by mid-morning, with it clearing this evening.

Taking a look at the weather for this week, Monday and Tuesday both have rain forecast, with the possibility of it being quite heavy tomorrow morning.

Your high today will be 21 degrees and an overnight low of 10 degrees.

If you are looking for something to get you out of the house, but still want to keep dry, why not head out to the Papamoa Beach Tavern where they will be serving all you can eat pancakes until 11am.

This started at 7am, so if you already haven't had breakfast, go grab some all you can eat pancakes.

Children are $12 and adults are $20.

If the rain is making you stay in bed a big longer this morning, why not head to The Rising Tide in Mount Maunganui for Dog and Grog.

Entry is $5 per dog which goes to Canine Friends Pet Therapy.

The dogs get to run around on the reserve next door, while you get to socialise and chat to some dog experts.

This event is running from 2pm until 4pm today.
