A new cycling group is launching in Papamoa on November 1 with the aim to help local riders have fun, build fitness and stay safe.
The Papamoa Peddlers is open to cyclists of all abilities, and most rides will be partly on-road and partly off-road around Tauranga's reserves, bike tracks and quieter roads where possible.
The group does not tack difficult mountain bike trails. Rides are suitable for hybrid, mountain and e-bikes and will last from two to three hours. All rides will be followed by a coffee.
The group will meet 9am every Thursday at Q Café in the Q Building, 88 Coast Boulevard, Papamoa.
