Police have picked up a 13-year-old in relation to two indecent assaults at a hospital carpark.

The teenager was arrested following a public plea for information about the assaults on staff at the Waikato Hospital carpark on August 3.

Acting Detective Sergeant Harry says both victims are being provided with support and Police are actively working to find the person responsible.

The 13-year-old male has been referred to youth aid in relation to the incidents says police.

'We have been working with the hospital and have reviewed CCTV footage.

'Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in the matter.”
