Police are turning to the public to help them locate a person wanted in relation to a series of petrol drive-offs.

The first one happened in Whakatane in July, says Whakatane Police Senior Sergeant Yvonne Parker.

'The vehicle subsequently did the same in Turangi and Wellington.”

She says pictured above 'is the person seen during one of these further thefts also”.

People with information about this person or the thefts are asked to contact Whakatane Police Station on 07 308 5255.
