Children have been treated for smoke inhalation following a caravan fire in Katikati.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Rereatukahia Road around 11pm.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson says the fire was fully involved when crews arrived at the scene.
A St John spokesperson says two people - both children - were taken to Tauranga Hospital in a moderate condition.
They were suffering from burns and smoke inhalation.
Fire crews remained at the scene for four hours.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
