Bomb left on police station steps

An unexploded bomb has been found on the door step to the Coromandel Police Station.

The army’s bomb disposal unit was called to the police station on Kapanga Road when the bomb shell was found.

Whitianga police Sergeant Andrew Morrison says the "old ordnance" was discovered just after 1.30pm on Sunday.

He says it’s not an uncommon thing.

“It was probably just an old shell.

“We wish people would leave them where they found them and just call us.”

What do you think about businesses rejecting people’s job applications if they have tattoos?

I think it’s fine. Companies should be able to do what is right for their business.
They shouldn’t be able to discriminate someone for having tattoos.
I guess it depends where the tattoo is.
