Enquiries are ongoing following the discovery of a body in Tauranga earlier this week.

Police are now in a position to identify the victim. He was 26-year-old Mitchell Curtis Rehua Paterson of Ngaruawahia.

Mitchell's body was found in the water below McLaren Falls Bridge, on McLaren Falls Road, about 11.30am on Friday, July 13.

"As part of the investigation, police are searching a residential address in Mill Lane, Hamilton," says Detective Inspector Lewis Warner.

"Bay of Plenty and Waikato Police are working together and a scene guard at the property will remain in place today."

What do you think about businesses rejecting people’s job applications if they have tattoos?

I think it’s fine. Companies should be able to do what is right for their business.
They shouldn’t be able to discriminate someone for having tattoos.
I guess it depends where the tattoo is.
