Attempted armed robbery information plea

Police investigating the attempted armed robbery of the Brookfield Superette are appealing for information from the public.

A CCTV image released by the police shows the offender in the store, armed with what looks like a large kitchen knife.

Police were called to the superette in Jude Place at 7pm on Saturday.

A police spokesperson says nothing was taken and enquiries are continuing to locate the offender.

Anyone with information about the attempted robbery or the person responsible is urged to contact Tauranga Police on 07 577 4300.

Alternatively, information can be left anonymously via the Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 line.

Of course not. But the image hasn't been released to show them. They were there. Maybe you should work for the Police and release pointless comments alongside their pointless image releases.
