Brakes didn’t work?

Maybe the the driver a couple of days ago who blamed brake failure. Maybe the steering was out of alignment and, by that, I mean of the driver not the car. I hope the Police are charging and fining these people so they wake up and pay more attention to the road. Coming out of Bayfair last weekend a young woman was driving her car while texting. Eyes down on the phone, not where she was going. The Police need to harden up the laws big time.

....yes totally agree and I have to wonder if the Police are able to watch as much as would like to happen. They (Police) are never or rarely seen keeping watch 'day to day', but only AFTER a 'situation' has occurred, this is not their fault (staffing levels) and surely Police should do true POLICE work anyway. Red light runners, speeders, looking at 'phone nutters are getting away with all sorts and sadly they (we) know it. People who drive believe they are confident and competent to do this, they (we) aren't....no one however is out there noticeably changing this. I so wish (surprisingly for me) that we had the old "MOT" back again, at least they kept us thinking!.. ( AND concentrating).......
