Wedding fever spread across the Bay of Plenty with a 'really, big full-on day” at the Bay of Plenty Wedding Show on Sunday.

But wedding shows are always happy shows, says organiser Rochelle Free.

'I haven't got a final number yet. The wedding show is always such a happy show. Everyone is there for such a happy reason.

'It was a really fun day. It was a really good day.

'We had someone come up to talk about how helpful all the exhibitors were, and that they wanted to talk to people.

The Bay of Plenty Wedding Show at the ASB Arena, Bay Park, Mt Maunganui featured more than 100 exhibitors from celebrants, stylists, planners, florists, gowns, fitness, videography, decoration, gifts, homeware, DJ's, Bands, honeymoons, stationery, photo booth, jewellery, hair, make-up, photographers, venues, caterers, transport and more.

It also incorporated a fashion show with the latest fashion for brides, bridesmaids and grooms.
