Information sought on two Waikato crimes

Police are seeking help from the public after a robbery and attempted robbery at two separate locations in the Waikato this morning.

At around 5am, three men with weapons forced their way into Z Energy on Wairere Drive in Hamilton.

The attendant managed to activate a fog cannon and secured herself in a safe room; however, the offenders allegedly stole two cash registers before leaving in a stolen grey Mazda Atenza.

Anyone who may be able to identify the men pictured in CCTV image above are urged to call Hamilton Police Station on 07 858 6200.

At 6.20am this morning, a man also entered Super Clearance on Studholme Street in Morrinsville with a small pocket knife and allegedly demanded cash.

The man left the store empty handed and is thought to have got into a vehicle on Lorne Street.

He is described as Caucasian, around 5'6”, of medium build and aged between 25 and 30-years-old.

He was wearing a black peaked cap with a black bandanna or shirt pulled up over his nose, a black jersey, black track pants, and black shoes with white soles.
