All budding artists in the Bay of Plenty are encouraged to get their entries into the Miles Art Awards 2018 by 4.30pm this Friday May 11.

This year, alongside the significant Miles Art Award of $10,000, the Tauranga Art Gallery also has three other cash awards.

These are the Friends of Tauranga Art Gallery Award of $1000, The Mayor's Award of $500 and the Ethel MacMillan Award of $250, as well as the Bay of Plenty Times People's Choice Award and The Incubator Emerging Artist Award.

All artists living in Tauranga, Western Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, Kawerau or Whakatane are able to enter the awards.
