A man has been arrested without incident following an armed arrest in Merivale.
A police media spokesperson says the arrest was made at about midday.
'This was a warrant to arrest a person for violence offences.
'AOS assisted as a precaution and the man was arrested without incident.”

Road blocks were also in place as the warrant was carried out.
