On 25 October 2011, peacefully in Tauranga, aged 92 years. Loved husband of the late Phillipa, and loved son of the late Gordon and Hazel Laing. Respected and loved brother and uncle to all his family. A funeral service for John will be held at Woodhill, 167 Grange Rd, Tauranga, on Saturday 29 October at 11.30am, followed by burial at Pyes Pa cemetery.
