Police raid Papamoa and Mount properties

A number of police, including dog units, are involved in this morning's operation.

Police are storming a number of properties in the Bay of Plenty as they execute pre-planned search warrants.

A police spokesperson says police are currently executing a number of pre-planned search warrants in Papamoa and Mt Maunganui, as well as one in West Auckland.

“The warrants relate to the manufacture and supply of synthetic cannabis and money laundering.

“An update will be provided later today.”
