Passed away peacefully on 17 October 2011, aged 82 years, in the presence of his loving family, after a brave battle with cancer. Dearly beloved husband of almost 40 years to Joy, much and adored dad of Maggie and Raymond, Doug and Pam, Heather, Kathryn and Drew, Roger and Lisa, loved and adored grandad, poppa and granda to his ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr Kevin Giles and also the staff at Waipuna Hospice for their loving care of Harry. 'God saw that you were weary, the hill too steep to climb. A service for Harry will be held on his birthday, at the Mt Maunganui Methodist Church, Puriri St, Mt Maunganui, on Wednesday 26 October at 12 noon, followed by private cremation.
