Injured woman shows up at florist

UPDATE - 5pm: A 32 year old Te Puke woman is reported to be in a stable condition in Tauranga Hospital after she entered a Te Puke florist's today seeking help.

Earlier: Police are making enquiries following an injured woman turning up at a florist in Te Puke.

A police media spokesperson says the incident was reported at about 2pm.

"Emergency services were called at 2.11pm with a report of an injured woman turning up at the florist on Jellicoe St.

"An ambulance from Mount Maunganui attended. Police are making enquiries."

Neighbouring business owners says it is not clear as to what is happening.

"There are three police cars and an ambulance here."

EARLIER:

Reports are coming in of an incident at Te Puke Florist.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says police have been spotted outside the florist on Jellicoe Street.
