Car smashes into bus stop

A car has crashed into a bus stop this evening.

A reporter at the scene says the car crashed into the bus stop on Cameron Road, near 16th Ave.

A police spokesperson says there were no injuries reported in the crash.

"The details I have are that this was a single vehicle crash.

"Inquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the crash."

People with information about the crash can contact Tauranga Police Station on 07 577 4300.

so now we have to watch out for bus stops jumping out as well as trees and poles. its getting harder every day to avoid these things
