The homicide investigation into the death of 28-year-old Hamilton woman Aroha Kerehoma (Kiwara) continues.

She was found dead in her Dominion Road home in Nawton, Hamilton, on Sunday afternoon.

“Police are asking residents of the Dominion Road, Wall Street and Roy Street areas to keep an eye out for any discarded items of clothing, a cell phone or any other items of note,” says Senior Sergeant Daryl Smith.

“Anyone who saw or heard anything out of the ordinary near 63 Dominion Road on Saturday night is also being urged to contact the Hamilton Central Police Station on (07) 858 6200 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

“Aroha's family have asked for privacy at this time.”
