John certainly does not seem to have the Key, we have Robin Hood in reverse, in that we rob the poor to feed the rich, in that we have all the tax fiddles under the sun for the wealthy, who sling off at some beneficiary who might be ripping off a few pennies from the system, that the super rich do not even pay into.
Some of the richest people in NZ make the point, that the rich should pay more tax, good on them, but their are others who do not. Many of them certainly do not think of others less fortunate, perhaps think they will look good in a gold coffin, no pockets in shrouds, I am told. The saying goes that much always wants more.
We have a situation where the Red Cross felt that they had to go into the schools to feed our children in our land of milk and honey. Many of our lakes etc are in dire straights, Labour and National are both responsible for this situation, it is good for NZ that the Greens are very keen to reverse this trend. John is very keen to preserve the Knighthood principle could be his final ambition, however a man who has been a volunteer with St John for 68 years and has paid $50,000 to help them with equipment is lucky to get a thank you instead of His Knighthood.

I understand your bitterness Ron - and I agree that national and Labour are both responsible for this situation - however, they are only able to carry out their policies because misguided people give them their permission to do so! The greens are not the saviour you paint them to be either - they would have us back to the stone age in a second, kneecapping business and those who create wealth and jobs. The problem lies in COMPULSION and DEMOCRACY where the biggest GANG get to say what others must do with their lives, rights and property. When people are forced to give up a percentage of their earnings and their lifes work, I can understand why they believe they have paid their FAIR SHARE! Why should they give more! COMPULSION, and those who think it is the answer is the real problem.

No use moaning now.It has always been the Nats take away from the majority to give to the well endowed and the rest are given little compensation. The 'two bob tories' are stuck in a time warp.
invest

I would rather the rich invested than paid tax, the idea of a socialist government was in charge is wealth management clearly has not worked to date. Just let them make money and pay no tax, then we will have a good job.
