Police have named the man who was killed in a crash in the Bay of Plenty yesterday.
Owen Alexander Materi died in a crash between two vehicles on Te Teko Road, near Edgecumbe.
The other driver involved in the crash is understood to have suffered minor injuries.
Police says 24-year-old Owen had been living in Edgecumbe before the crash.
'Police's thoughts are with Mr Materi's family at this difficult time.
'The Serious Crash Unit continue to investigate the crash and would like to speak to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police.”
