London Bridge and nearby Borough Market in London are in lockdown after two separate attacks.

Earlier reports of a third incident at Vauxhall about four kilometres away have been found to be unrelated.

LONDON BRIDGE INCIDENT

London Bridge and its railway station are in lockdown after a white van ploughed into pedestrians on Saturday night around 10pm, injuring up to 20 people.

The BBC is reporting police are looking for up to three armed men. A BBC reporter on the bridge at the time says she saw police arrest a shirtless man just after the incident.

London Bridge underground station has been closed at the request of the police.

BOROUGH MARKET INCIDENT

One witness told Reuters that she saw what appeared to be three people with knife wounds. There are also reports of shots being fired.

VAUXHALL INCIDENT

Police now say this incident is unrelated to the incidents at London Bridge and Borough Market.
