A major highway running through the Bay of Plenty is blocked after a truck rolled this morning.

State Highway 35, near Waihau Bay, is blocked after a truck rolled near the Raukokore School.

The driver was not injured, says a police spokeswoman.

Emergency services were called to the crash at 7.43am.

'At this stage, it's understood one lane is blocked completely and drivers are warned to expect delays.

'Police are awaiting the arrival of contractors to clear what is believed to be a logging truck.”
