Tauranga man Mike Fisk says public attention should shift from the dairies which sell Kronic synthetic cannabis products to those that don't.
'After seeing on TV all the dairies selling Kronic, I thought maybe there's some way to promote the good ones – to promote the ones that have got a bit of a conscience,” says Mike.
Mount Maunganui dairy owner Peter Grindrod, pictured with his dog Basil, is proud to not sell Kronic
'I walked into my local dairy and told them I wouldn't be coming back. I told them; you sell this stuff to my kids and it puts me in this position.”
Mike's frustration is based on Kronic's Pineapple Express product, which contains benzodiazepine, a drug used for the short term treatment of anxiety and as an anticonvulsant.
Tauranga couple Wally and Merle Climo have spoken about the dangers of benzodiazepine after Wally had been on the drug for 26 years to treat epilepsy.
'It ruined my life,” says Wally.
'I went from having a normal life to not being able to function normally.
'It's shocking – you can get heroin, cannabis and P and all the hard drugs, put them all together and they haven't as much impact on your life as benzodiazepine.”

It is wild gerealizations like this "you can get heroin, cannabis and P and all the hard drugs, put them all together and they haven't as much impact on your life as benzodiazepine.” How can you possibly state this unless you have been on this cocktail, and how can you possibly state that the drug/s (any drugs) have the same effect and impact on everybody?! I agree that the stuff should not be available in any environment which attracts children, so let's keep the focus right where it is! Making sure that the shops that shouldn't be selling it, don't!
Kronic

At the risk of seeming racist, can anyone point to a non-Asian Kronic seller?
Well done MIke Fisk

Here is a man doing things the RIGHT way - congratulations. No call to ban things he doesnt like. Doesnt deny others their rights to do something they chose - just plain, honest and moral actions, respecting the rights of others to do as they chose with their own lives. Good call Mike
