Every day, thousands of Kiwis around the country volunteer to help make sport happen in their communities. Tonight's live draw featured the story of Dallas Storer, a beloved sports volunteer from Kaitangata and the latest winner of Lotto Volunteers' ‘Thank a Sport Maker' award.

Dallas worked tirelessly to transform a piece of unused land in Kaitangata, Otago into a BMX and skate park for his local community. The clip can be viewed here

The Sport Maker partnership between Lotto New Zealand and Sport New Zealand thanks volunteers for helping make sport happen in communities around the country and encourages them to keep doing what they're doing.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ ticket-checker app.
