Thank you very much to the person who backed into my car which was parked on the left hand side of Grange Road where the house numbers were in the low 200s. It was parked just past a bus stop. This was on the side of the road which leads to Brookfield. The date was Thursday 14 April and the time between 3 and 4pm. I thought that you might like to know that you caused quite extensive damage to the right front side of my car above the right wheel. In fact, the extent of the damage caused would have made it impossible for you not to realise that you had hit something!
Thank you very much for not leaving a note of apology and the name of your insurance company. Goodness knows what it will cost to repair. I am waiting for the panel beater's report on this. In the meantime I am without a car. But what I do have, are some tiny pieces of red glass which you left behind. They are the same colour as the small piece of glass left embedded in my car. Yes you certainly gave the car a good bang, enough in fact to tear the metal. Perhaps they came from one of your rear lights. So whoever you are I urge you to check your rear lights. You wouldn't want to get a ticket now would you?
