Gray Southon, (8/4/2011), refers to my 'opinion” on man-made global warming.
As matter of fact, I thought that by now, this was pretty much of a dead duck and as for all of the virtual majority of the world's governments accepting evidence in support, I would refer to the loudly hailed and woefully unproductive meetings, at Bali, Kyoto and lately, Cancun, to name a few. It was pretty evident that 'money where the mouth is”, was markedly absent at these august assemblies and so, while the believers toil, albeit to little or no avail, America, India, plus China, flagrantly ignoring what anyone else says, continue to pump their poisons into the air.
Alas, would that I had the time and space to recite, chapter and verse, numerous articles, speeches and the findings of many eminent people on this subject.
For a start, I urge Gray Southon and others interested in these and associated matters, to go to The New Zealand Climate Science Coalition, (www.climatescience.org.nz), read the current articles and study the veritable catalogue of other references listed there and then pause to take stock of how, many eminent scientists and others, comment on this subject.
