Help save Katikati Heritage Museum

As the 'teacher” of the KKHM classroom programme, which meets the schools curriculum requirements for studying life in Early N.Z, I know first hand, the value of this programme.
Classes come from all over the BOP and from as far afield as Auckland. Some teachers have returned every year with their current class since the programme started 11 years ago.
Such a wonderful asset as the museum, and all it has to offer, CANNOT be allowed to close and deprive our children and adults alike, of such a valuable resource.
Attend the meeting being held Monday 28 at 5.30pm, or come at 4.30pm for a look through the museum beforehand.
Dorothy Warbrooke, Katikati.

Don't ask Tauranga we can not even save a few trees that cost nothing to have, are native and that it is rare to have all in one place. meanwhile we have a Aspen tree that has cost $10,000 already and now they want to knock it over, just don't figure ?
