A man is in serious condition in Tauranga Hospital after a quad bike accident.
The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to a farm, south of Te Puke, yesterday afternoon, after a 28-year-old farmer rolled his quad bike.

The man suffered head and back injuries when the quad bike rolled backwards over a bank while the farmer was moving some stock.
The helicopter was dispatched due to the serious nature of the man's injuries.
