Passed away peacefully at Melrose Lifestyle Care, Tauranga on Wednesday 5^th August 2015, aged 80 years. Much loved husband of Lorna (nee Cressy) for 59 years, father of Jenine Clift (Auckland), Neil Lindsey (Auckland), Keith Lindsey (Sydney) and Carol Galligan (Brisbane), father-in-law of Phil Galligan. Proud grandad to Samuel and Benjamin Clift, and Jessica-Louise Galligan, and great-grandfather to Della.

'Ivan has lived a very full and productive life, and in recent years was the researcher of the N.Z. airmen who went through the BCATP (British Commonwealth Air Training Plan) during WW2 and trained in Canada”.

Ivan's family wish to thank the staff at Melrose for their dedicated care of Ivan, during the period when he has been in the hospital unit.A service to celebrate Ivan's life will be held at Woodhill, 167 Grange Road Tauranga, on Monday 10^th August at 11am.
