Suddenly on Monday 20 July 2015, aged 76 years. Loving partner and mate of Linda. Loving father to Grant, Paula, and Carol, and stepdad to Paul, Colin, Kelley, Niu (deceased), and Moki. Treasured Poppa of his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved by all who knew him, will be sadly missed. A funeral service for Syd will be held in the St John's Union Church, St John Street, Opotiki on Friday 24^th July at 1pm, followed by private cremation.
