Passed away 10 June 2015, in his 89th year. Loving husband of Ilia for 67 years. Loving father of Margaret and the late Barry Briggs, Judy and Denis Toovey, Keith and Pam Scott, the late Lynn; and Peter McNaughton, Janice and Thomas Hunt. Loving "Poppie" of his 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter. Thanks to the staff of Bob Owens Retirement Village. A service to celebrate the life of Doug, will be held at St Columba Presbyterian Church, 502 Otumoetai Rd Tauranga, on Monday 15 June at 11am, followed by private cremation.
