Passed peacefully on the 18th of May, 2015 at home in Omokoroa. Dearly loved husband of Kathy and beloved father of Suzanne, Sheryl, Steve, Andy, and Aaron. Much loved father-in-law of Lui, Oxana, Gillian, and Mere, adored grandfather of 13, and great grandfather of 3. John touched the lives of many and freely shared his love of art, of gardening, and the world. He leaves a legacy of passionate optimism and unwavering kindness that will be remembered by all. Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Waipuna Hospice for their dedication and caring of John over the past 6 months.
