All it takes is a glass of milk, and Te Puke Plunket's Lisa Powell will welcome you into her ‘extended family' with open arms in an effort to see a new Plunket centre become a reality.
As part of Anchor Milk's ‘Anchor Families' promotion, charities, sports teams and individuals have the chance to win $200,000 by getting ‘family members' to enter codes on specially marked Anchor milk bottles.

And Lisa knows exactly where the money will go if she wins – Te Puke Plunket's fundraising efforts.
For the last five years, Te Puke Plunket has been drawing up plans and fundraising to build a new facility worth $450,000, currently renting a one room office in Palmer Street.
'It would be a great boost as we are struggling,” explains Lisa. 'We go to grant providers but there are only so many grant providers and a lot of groups after the same money.
'We don't have anywhere in Te Puke to run any of our Plunket services like our parenting education classes, anti-natal classes and car seat clinics.”
Proposed to be built behind BNZ on Queen Street, the centre would consist of four rooms, a kitchen and administration area, a community activity room and a covered deck and play area.
'We have put an application into TECT and that will be quite a bit,” she adds, 'and if we get that funding we hope to have it done in the next two years.”
Spotting the promotion on a milk bottle a few weeks ago, Lisa instantly created a family and has been constantly adding people to her ‘Anchor Family' ahead of the June 7 deadline.
Once part of the family, people can enter three codes per person, per day. Every additional add to your family is a bonus entry into each weeks draw, where cash prizes of $1000 can be won.
Lisa, a mother of two, says her weekly milk bill is already at seven, two-litre bottles, but anyone willing to join her milk family gives her a greater chance of winning the grand prize.
Anyone who would like to help Lisa can request an invite to join her family by sending her an email at: [email protected] or a private message via Facebook.
