A world-class surgeon will be offering his knowledge in Ohope as he trials a series of free consultations in February.

Former Junior All Black, Dr Paul Anderson wants to give something back to the community and will be offering free 20 to 30 minute session to discuss any medical concern, starting February 4.

Paul says the consultations are an 'innovation medical education trial” aimed at seeing what information patients want from a specialist.

He says it is also a good time for people to go over a diagnosis they have been given because quite often people are left with more questions following an initial diagnosis.
