Community Patrols New Zealand is on the hunt for volunteers to be community patrollers for teams based in Tauranga and Bethlehem.
CPNZ work with police to assist making neighbourhoods safer and better places to live, say police.
Community Patrols are looking for people to join them in helping to keep the community safe.
'They have contributed significantly as our 'eyes and ears', helping us to catch burglars, deter would-be robbers and prevent a lot of crime and youth disorder,” says community Constable Ian Searle.
'The Tauranga/Bethlehem CPNZ team is looking for more dedicated patrollers to add to their proactive success.”
If you think you've got what it takes to become a patroller, contact CPNZ.
