Organisers of a fundraising event set to thrill the masses are on the final countdown to Wheels 4 Cure Kids at Fraser Cove this Saturday.
Luke Price and his wife Kelly, along with Worlds End Restaurant and Bar owner Cameron Keogh, are frantically putting the final pieces together for the action-packed day.
The carpark of Fraser Cove will be lined with hot rods, classic and vintage cars and a stage for freestyle motocross and BMX riders this Saturday.
A star studded line-up of some of the world's top motocross riders will join both national and international BMX riders to help raise money for Cure Kids - an organisation set up to find cures for children with life-threatening illnesses - from 10am.
The event is free but people will be walking around with collection buckets and raffles will be held on the day.
'I'm asking for one last push, if you guys have anything we could auction or anything we could use for giveaways please hook us up,” says Luke.
'We all know how much Cure Kids do to help Kiwi kids out so please help us help Cure Kids Anything is appreciated.”
To help boost the funds raised for Cure Kids, Luke has also set up a fundraising website.
'Come support me as I participate in Wheels for Cure Kids in an effort to raise funds for Cure Kids,” he says.
