Lucky Lotto tickets sold in Tauranga and Opotiki have won two lucky people a brand new Audi S5 Coupe.

The lucky Bay of Plenty punters were announced winners as part of Lotto's Make Summer Last Forever promotion, which gave away 200 extra prizes.

Included in the prize pool was one $1 million cash prize, one $250,000 cash prize, two Holden SUV plus Rayglass Boat packages, six Audi S5 Coupes, 10 $15,000 cash prizes and 180 $10,000 cash prizes.

A player from Pukekohe won $10 million with Powerball First Division, with the winning ticket sold at Countdown in Pukekohe.

The total Lotto Powerball prize of $10.7 million is made up of $10,249,807 million from Powerball First Division and $500,000 from Lotto First Division.

Lotto NZ's head of corporate communications Emilia Mazur says a win like this is life changing.

There was one other Lotto First Division winner, who took home $500,000. The winning Lotto ticket was sold at Sweet Gifts in Ruakaka.

Meanwhile, a player from Warkworth won $1 million with Strike Four. The winning ticket was sold at Countdown Warkworth.

Paul and Dione from Auckland spun and won $200,000 with the Winning Wheel on Saturday night's live Lotto draw.

This week's Winning Wheel ticket was sold at New World in Waihi. The serial number is 414-34712580-20xx.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ ticket-checker smartphone app.
