Soccer with a twist is on offer this afternoon at the Tauranga Waterfront.

People of all ages are being invited to celebrate the re-release of the Fruju Tropical Snow by taking part in the Fruju Beachball Challenge.

'We have zorb balls where anyone from the age of seven can jump in and have a game of soccer in an inflatable arena,” says Fruju spokesperson Alisha McDowell.

'They kind of bounce off each other in these massive zorb balls. It's been quite quiet so far, we would have had about 30 people come down and have a go. We're here until 4pm.”

Alisha says the event is free and at the end of each game they each get a free Fruju and the winners get these really cool Fruju visors.

'Most people thinks its costs, but it's free. Anyone can do it, it may look like it's for kids but it's good for adults and teenagers as well.”
