Sundaise announces second line-up

The 2014 Vodafone NZ Music Awards Best Electronica Album winner Opiuo will be joining the fun at next year's Sundaise Festival.

This month the organisers announced the latest additions to the line-up for the three day festival which will be jam packed with music, art, culture and environmental sustainability.

Also announced alongside Opiuo are acts Knights of the Dub Table, Ant Wars, Groove Mantis, Dubsonic, TCDNBFC, Such and Such, Sidewalk Empire, Phil & Tiley, DeepC, Izzy Bones, and Jammin-I.

This latest crop will join headliners Trinity Roots plus Sorceress, Isaac Aesili, Tali, The Nomad, Swamp Thing, Regan Perry, Luke Hurley, R.I.A, and many, many more high calibre artists.

The festival is set in a hidden valley on private farmland on the northern edge of the Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park, surrounded by native bush and a crystal clear river at Dickey Flat, near Waihi.

Along with more than 60 hours of music, the festival also offers art installations, workshops, market stalls, free camping – the list goes on and on.

There are only 1000 tickets available for the three-day boutique event and festival director Rachael Stanway says sales have gone through the roof.

Sundaise will announce another line-up of artists in January.

The 2015 Sundaise Festival is on at Dickey Flat in Waihi from March 6-8 next year.

Tickets cost $169 for adults, $40 for youths (13 – 17 years old), $10 for children (5 – 12 years old) and $378 for a family (2 x adults & 3 x child/youth). Entry is free for children under five.

Sundaise offers free camping on site and the event is BYO alcohol. No glass allowed.
