What's on Today? Water sports

Good morning Sunners,

Welcome to the final Sunday of November.

People are encouraged to give water sports a go at Kulim park today. Photo: Bruce Barnard.

We're forecast for a small shower or two of rain today – but don't let that stop you from enjoying the day.

Make the most of the expected fine spells at Elements Watersports' Open Weekend starting at 11am.

Whether it's your first time on the water, or you want to improve your skills – jump right in and give sailing, windsurfing or paddle boarding a go, with experienced instructors at Kulim Park.

As part of Sport Bay of Plenty's Play in the Bay Active Water Month, Elements Watersports is promoting windsurfing with taster sessions at $10 per adult and $5 per child, with a team of experienced and qualified instructors.

Elements Watersports' Open Weekend is on November 29-30 from 11am-4pm, with half price sailing, paddleboard and windsurf lessons and rentals.

Later on, visit the Tauranga Night Market at Bayfair Shopping Centre's underground car park this evening.

Check out all of the fresh produce, gifts, fashionware, antiques, live music and more from 5.30pm to 11pm.
