Tauranga St John were overwhelmed with the success of their garage sale on Saturday. Ambulance team leader Ross Clarke says "we are really pleased with the public support, are overwhelmed and appreciative of everyone's help." People started arriving at 6.15am with over 50 waiting at the door at 7am when the garage sale opened.

Paramedic Bill McNeilly looked after the electrics department at the St John garage sale on Saturday.

The proceeds from the garage sale will directly benefit Tauranga staff and volunteers.

The sale will continue on until late afternoon Saturday and will finish on Sunday at 2pm.
