Dearly loved wife of the late Buster Glover, and the late Theo Mills. Loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law and friend of Rosalind and Tony, Gwen and Ian, Jack, the late Barbara, and Sue, Vivienne (Australia), Jim and Marlene. Treasured grandma of her 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Loved and respected friend of the Mann, Mills, McDonald, Wright and Cichonski families.

We are so proud of our darling French speaking, Canadian war bride mother. She never lost her optimism, cheeky sense of humour and unfailing encouragement of us all.

Grateful thanks for the care she received at Melrose Park for seven years and to the compassionate and dedicated staff at Bethlehem Views, who have made her last three years as happy and comfortable as possible.

A service to celebrate Irene's life will be held at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Rd, Tauranga, on Friday 29 August at 11.30am, followed by private cremation.
