Peacefully at Tauranga Public Hospital on Saturday 3rd August 2014, aged 83 years; after a courageous but short battle with cancer, and surrounded by his loving family.

Treasured only love of his dear wife Maureen. Precious dad to Raewyn, and Len and Julie. Adored Poppa to Annalise and Andrew Barrett, Matt and Kirstie, and great poppa to Rylee and Boston.

Will always be lovingly remembered.

A service celebrating the life of Alan will be held at Mount Harbour Chapel, cnr of Matai Street and Maunganui Road, Mount Maunganui, on Thursday 7th August at 1.00pm.
