Almost two years on from the murder of a Paeroa businessman, investigators say the file remains open and they still believe the key to solving the case remains with the public.
Jordan Voudouris, 55, was shot dead outside his Mykono's Pizza and Takeaways store in the early hours of 18 June 2012.
Jordan Voudouris, 55, was killed outside his Paeroa business in June 2012.
Detective Glenn Ewing of the Waihi CIB says the passing of time has not enabled the family to rest any easier with the knowledge that no-one has been identified as being responsible for his murder.
"The family and investigators remain committed to finding the person or persons responsible, but to do this we need your help.
"Once again Police plead with anyone with any information who hasn't already come forward, to do so."
Police say with the passage of time people's loyalties change and those persons who may have held on to information need to be safe in the knowledge that they can still come forward and make a difference.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Waihi CIB on 07 863 9365."
Alternatively, information can be left by signing into the Operation Olive Facebook page at Paeroa Police-Jordan Voudouris or anonymously with the independent Crime stoppers on 0800 555111.
