Police are searching for a black Nissan Laurel Medalist in connection with several burglaries in rural Western Bay of Plenty.
The occupants of the vehicle were disturbed committing a burglary at a rural address just south of Katikati on Friday.

Police are searching for a black Nissan vehicle to help them catch some Western Bay of Plenty burglars.

The only description police have of the burglars is that there were two male Maoris. Police say locating this vehicle will aid them in finding the burglars.
It has registration number WG1947.
Katikati police senior constable John Fitzgerald says this vehicle was also possibly used in similar burglaries in the region.
Police are appealing for the public to assist them in locating this vehicle and can be contacted by calling 07 577 4300 or anonymously on 0800 SPEAKUP.
