For a second year, Sandy Williams has fused the Western Bay of Plenty's top art into a charitable calendar.
The Artists of Plenty fundraising calendar was lunched on Thursday night at the Sebel Trinity Wharf Hotel and went on sale Friday.
Twelve Western Bay of Plenty artists were chosen to create work for the calendar.
Sandy Williams, organiser of the Artists of Plenty fundraising calendar, with some of the art work featured in the 2010 edition.
They are Valerie Beale, Tena Cressy, Doreen McNeill, Colleen Dewhurst, Megan Theodore, Hayley Brown, Tobi Dante, Kareama Taepa, Timo Rannali, Jacqui Reynard, Heidi Borchardt and Ellie Lawler.
The money raised from the calendars will go to fund Women's Refuge crisis line.
Sandy Williams is the organiser of the Artists of Plenty calendar and says the profits from the calendar are crucial for the organisation.
'The crisis line is the first point of contact for those who are affected by domestic violence, so that is their first life line,” says Sandy.
She says this year's selection of artists offered a wide range of talent.
'It's fantastic, it's a great selection of art work and different stages of their careers,” says Sandy.
The calendars are on sale at Paper Plus, Creative Tauranga, The Tauranga Art Gallery, Zohar, Pacifica Garden Centre and Café for $20.
