A Tauranga man who confessed to importing, manufacturing, possessing and selling drugs is facing a jail term of up to eight years.
David Allan Dunstan, 19, appeared in Hamilton District Court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to six charges, including one representative, relating to the ecstasy-type drug bk-MDMA and importing 2C-I, also known as smiles.
A 19-year-old Tauranga man could be sentenced to eight years in jail after admitting drug charges in Hamilton District Court.
A further six drug-related charges were withdrawn
Dunstan's lawyer, Paul Mabey QC, says his client had not been before the courts before and lived at home with his parents, reports Fairfax Media.
Judge Phillip Connell convicted Dunstan on the charges and warned him that he was "in a very difficult spot" regarding the charges he faced.
He is due to be sentenced on June 27 in Hamilton District Court.
