Shaving for a cure: people losing their locks to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation.
An event to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation is still going ahead today, just in a different location.
The Mount Beach Bald was originally planned to take place outside the Mount Maunganui Surf Club but is now moving indoors to the Mount Action Centre.
Organiser Delwynne Hahunga is disappointed the weather has forced them to change location but says she is grateful to Tauranga Rotary for sharing the location.
