Tauranga Boys' College won Tuesday night's Tauranga Stage Challenge and J Rock national tour and will now compete in the national television final in August.
Tauranga Boys' wowed the audience with their performance 'Angels and Demons'; about good versus evil and making the right decisions.

Tauranga Boys' College took out first place with their performance Angels and Demons for the Tauranga ASB 2010 Stage Challenge and J Rock.

Stage Challenge and J Rock event manager Alice Larmer says their performance, "was visually spectacular, the boys' body paint was simple yet so effective."
Katikati College came second with the performance 'Aotearoa as One'.
Tauranga Girls' College was third with their performance 'Discovery'.
Alice says the evening was a great success, "with the most schools we have had in Tauranga and a sell out show."
In the J Rock division - the non competitive section for primary and intermediate schools, there were strong performances from Tahatai Coast School, Otumoetai Intermediate and Mercury Bay Community.
